2013 Pokémon Card Values & Price Guide
2013 closed the Black & White era with three sets built around Team Plasma and then Legendary Treasures, which introduced the Radiant Collection.
What this guide includes
This guide currently covers 62 indexed card records across 7 sets and the 2013 release year. The displayed estimate range is $0.07–$8,900. It reflects records available in TCG Value Scanner, not a complete manufacturer checklist.
Values are directional estimates rather than guaranteed sale prices. Read how estimates and scan ranges are produced.

The 2013 sets
- Plasma Storm (February 6, 2013)
- Plasma Freeze (May 8, 2013)
- Plasma Blast (August 14, 2013)
- Legendary Treasures (November 6, 2013), which added a 25-card Radiant Collection numbered RC1 to RC25, from Snivy (RC1) to Meloetta-EX (RC25), printed with its own coating and foil patterns.
The XY Kalos Starter Set also came out in 2013, ahead of the XY era. Its Fennekin (#8) is the 2013 card scanned most in TCG Value Scanner.
Radiant Collection or main set?
A Radiant Collection card and the main-set card of the same Pokémon are separate printings with separate values. Reshiram shows how far apart they can sit: Legendary Treasures has a main-set Reshiram (#114) and a Radiant Collection Reshiram (RC22), and each has its own entry here. Read the number on the card — an RC prefix means the Radiant Collection.
The Radiant Collection idea returned three years later in Generations, with 32 cards; this 2013 version came first.
Elsewhere in the year
Plasma Freeze contributes two Heatran printings (#109 and #13) and Plasma Storm a Moltres (#14) to the middle of our 2013 values. Japanese cards appear too: a Pikachu from the Black & White Shiny Collection (#7) is one of the most valuable 2013 cards in our index, well ahead of most English cards from the year.
The same Pokémon can appear in more than one Plasma set; the set symbol beside the number tells Plasma Storm, Plasma Freeze and Plasma Blast apart. Japanese cards from 2013, such as those from EX Battle Boost and the Shiny Collection, are listed separately from the English sets.
The Black & White era began in 2011 and peaked in 2012; 2014 opened the XY era with Mega Evolution. For Reshiram's rival, see the Zekrom guide.
