2026 Pokémon Card Values & Price Guide
2026 is the busiest year in TCG Value Scanner so far: more scans match 2026 cards than any other year, spread across the Mega Evolution sets released every couple of months and the 30th Celebration set of September. This guide covers the year to date and is updated as new sets arrive.
What this guide includes
This guide currently covers 753 indexed card records across 9 sets and the 2026 release year. The displayed estimate range is $0.02–$2,850. It reflects records available in TCG Value Scanner, not a complete manufacturer checklist.
Values are directional estimates rather than guaranteed sale prices. Read how estimates and scan ranges are produced.

The 2026 sets in order
- Ascended Heroes is a special set: its packs were sold only inside collection boxes, tins and Elite Trainer Boxes, released in waves from January 30 to April 2026. It is also the largest 2026 set in this guide.
- Perfect Order (March 27), the third main Mega Evolution expansion, is built around Mega Zygarde ex and the Pokémon Legends: Z-A games. Its Gengar #50 is the second most scanned 2026 card.
- Chaos Rising (May 22), led by Mega Greninja ex and Mega Floette ex, is the 2026 set scanned most in the app. Froakie #88 and Energy Retrieval #108 from it are the first and third most scanned 2026 cards.
- Pitch Black (July 17) brought Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zeraora ex and Mega Chandelure ex, among others.
- 30th Celebration (September 16), the anniversary set and the first in the game's history released worldwide on the same day.
One Pokémon, several numbers
Mega Evolution sets print their headline Pokémon more than once. Mega Darkrai ex, for example, is #048 in Pitch Black's main list and appears again as #116; the two cards look related but are valued separately. The higher numbers in each set hold the illustration rares and special illustration rares, so a card numbered above the set's printed total is a rare art version, not a misprint.
30th Celebration and its Classic Collection
Every card in a 30th Celebration pack is foil, the set introduced a new rarity called Futuristic Rare, and it includes thirty different Pikachu cards by different artists. Its Classic Collection brings back famous older cards — among them Crystal Lugia, Magikarp and Dark Tyranitar — under their original numbers. That is why the most valuable 2026 card in this guide is a Lugia numbered 149: it is the 30th Celebration copy of Crystal Lugia, a card first printed in Aquapolis in 2003. The anniversary logo separates it from the original, just as it does for the reprinted Base Set Charizard.
Japanese 2026 sets such as Nihil Zero and Storm Emeralda are here too; they came out ahead of the English sets and carry their own numbers.
Mega Evolution began in 2025; the 25th anniversary sets are in 2021.
